FLAME RETARDANT CABLES – COPPER CONDUCTOR, XL-LSHF INSULATION

GENERAL SCOPE

  • The CE/FRT-LSHF flame retardant cables are designed to restrict the propagation of flames when affected by fire.
  • The flame retardant cables of CADIVI proper use of public facilities, backup power systems, emergency systems, fire alarm systems, Sprinklers, smoke detection and extraction equipment, emergency lighting and evacuation systems..., rated voltage up to 450/750 V, fixed  wiring.

-              IEC 60754-1, 2; IEC 61034-2.

-              BS 6425-1, 2; BS 7622-2.

  • By color of insulation: Orange.
  • Or by customer’s requirement.

Technical characteristics

  • Rated voltage U0/U: 450/750 V.
  • Test voltage up to: 2,5 kV (15 minutes).
  • Maximum conductor temperature for normal operation is 900C.
  • Maximum conductor temperature for short-circuit (5s maximum duration) is 2500C.
  • The fire retardant cables have a significant reduced tendency to propagate fire.
  • The cables have low emission of smoke and acid gas when affected by fire.
  • The cables must self-extinguish after removing the fire source.
  • Min. bending radius: 8 x D (D: overall diameter).
  • Max. pulling tesion: 50 N/mm2.
