On the morning of July 17, 2024, the Vietnam ETE and Enertec Expo 2024 opened in Ho Chi Minh City. This year, Gelex Electric, a member company of GELEX Group Joint Stock Company, introduced many modern technological products to visitors, focusing on safety, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness.

Gelex Electric is one of the few companies that consistently maintains and pioneers in research and development (R&D) of new products, capturing the green living trend to enhance competitive capacity and affirm its brand and reputation in the industry.

At this year's exhibition, some of Gelex Electric's new products drew attention, such as low smoke, halogen-free (LSHF) flame-retardant and fire-resistant wires and cables, providing a safe solution for every Vietnamese household. The range also includes short-term heat-resistant electric motors for warehouses and high-rise buildings, explosion-proof motors for mines, and transformer monitoring systems.

Regarding electric cables, CADIVI introduced to customers a line of electric cables with breakthrough features in flame retardancy and fire resistance, utilizing lead-free (LF) and low smoke, halogen-free (LSHF) materials that do not emit toxic gases when burned.

### CADIVI Introduces New Products Aimed at “Green Living - Safe Living”

According to a representative from CADIVI, their electric wires and cables, which use LF & LSHF insulation materials, can withstand a maximum internal conductor temperature of up to 90 degrees Celsius in long-term working conditions. This is 30% higher than conventional electric cables of the same cross-section, allowing for higher continuous working currents and minimizing the risk of insulation overheating, which can lead to breakage or deformation and result in short circuits.

LSHF materials have a slow flame spread characteristic, making them difficult to ignite. When they do burn, the fire does not spread widely, and the cables will self-extinguish or, even if multiple cables are burning, will extinguish within a maximum of 2.5 meters.

LSHF-coated electric wires and cables are designed to emit minimal smoke and contain no halogens in the event of an incident. This feature is crucial for preventing reduced visibility, suffocation, and casualties, as well as avoiding equipment damage and limiting widespread damage.

### Introducing Transformers from Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company (THIBIDI)

THIBIDI's transformers have maintained the number one market share in Vietnam for many years, according to a survey by the High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association. In addition to high-efficiency transformers and dry-type transformers, THIBIDI also introduced transformer monitoring devices that help measure, monitor, and prevent incidents, ensuring the safe operation of equipment on the power grid.

Heat-Resistant Electric Motors by HEM

HEM has successfully researched and manufactured heat-resistant electric motors that meet the requirements for working in high-temperature environments. These motors can withstand temperatures of up to 250 degrees Celsius for 2 hours and 300 degrees Celsius for 2 hours. The quality of these motors is ensured by an international ISO 9001 standard quality management system.

Heat-resistant motors are used in warehouses, high-rise buildings, and particularly in most fire protection systems in apartment buildings. In the event of fire-related incidents, these motors will work to exhaust smoke and expedite fire-fighting efforts.

In addition, HEM introduced explosion-proof motors designed for use in mines, meeting the requirements for producing other explosion-proof motors that operate in environments with potential fire and explosion hazards.
